Do You Know an Extraordinary PA That Deserves Recognition?

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 SCAPA PA of the Year Award! This award honors an individual physician assistant who has demonstrated exemplary service to the PA profession and the community they serve, while providing significant contributions to the overall healthcare of the citizens of South Carolina. This is the highest award given annually to a PA by the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.

Last year, Gabby Linder Poole was recognized as the 2015 SCAPA PA of the year. As a prior SCAPA president and highly involved member, Gabby was influential in carrying SCAPA into the modern age of technology. Gabby earned several national awards as it related to her work on SCAPA’s website. In addition, Gabby is also a dedicated international medical missionary, a devoted mother, PA educator, community servant and an accomplished orthopaedic PA at the Medical University of South Carolina.
