A Day in the Life of a PA
PA’s are practicing in a wider variety of specialties each and every day; consequently, the question "What does a PA do?" can have thousands of different answers depending on the PA’s specialty.
To provide insight into the PA routine, the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA) publishes a series called "A Day in the Life..." where PAs from many backgrounds highlight their typical day. To find out the role a PA plays in your field of interest, simply click on the links below and you will be sent directly to the JAAPA article archive.
If your field is not listed, submissions are always welcome and can be sent to the SCAPA office at scapa@sc.rr.com. Check back for updates as they become available.
